Welcome back APA! We are so excited to welcome cadets back into our buildings tomorrow!!
Elementary families, please have patience and give grace tomorrow morning and afternoon in regards to drop-off and pick-up. We have some new staff and new students who will need extra time this first week. Don’t worry, we will become a well-oiled machine as fast as we can.
Pre-Academy families, we are WILD about learning this year! We have a special first day planned by Dr. Nahlik, Capt. Trotter, Lt. Ferris, and Lt. Austin where we hope to empower our cadets to change the narrative and begin the school year with a WILD twist, camaraderie building, and a great foundation.
Academy families, we know not all schedules are loaded into Skyward. We have our best people working around the clock to make sure everyone has a place to belong tomorrow morning. Lt. Och will greet everyone by the door and homerooms will be posted in the cafeteria and near the cadet entrance so cadets know where to go first thing. We will get them copies of their schedule as soon as we possibly can.
If you have any questions, please email your building administrator. Elementary, afraley@goapa.org Secondary, cmiller@goapa.org.

#Make48Anderson update! We've completed the 48 hour making challenge, and now we are in the final stage doing our sales pitch, video, product demonstration and Q&A session with the judges. We present around 3pm and winners are announced at 5pm, but due to non-disclosure agreements, we won't be able to talk about our product or who won until it airs this fall as part of the Make48 documentary.
Thanks for following along all weekend! Fingers crossed!

#Make48Anderson update! Your Dream Makers are working hard!
We are in our making phase. We were given $200 to buy supplies, and we decided to get resourceful and be environmentally friendly by using pallets for our wood supply.
We grabbed used pallets by the APA dumpster from the bleacher project. 😁
