We had the opportunity to meet Gov. Braun today and hear him speak about the amazing work that Madison County Alliance is doing to bring NextGen Workforce Development to Madison County. Through our partnerships with Madison County Alliance and D26, APA cadets will have the opportunity to expand their work-based learning and connect with local employers for skilled trade development. We are grateful for this opportunity for our cadets and our community!

Late last year, we surveyed APA families to hear reasons why they're proud of APA. APA guardian, Symone Wilson, shared that, "I know, for a fact, that my kids are loved by the staff at APA!." You'll see these smiling faces on billboards around town.
Thank you to all who submitted! We are so appreciative of your feedback.

Lt. Highsmith’s Makerspace class has been making a bang! 🚀
Our cadets dove headfirst into a Mystery Build Challenge. The twist? They were surprised with a mystery item and a mystery material and had to let their imaginations do the rest.
From stadiums and bridges to time machines and treehouses, the results were incredible! It was so rewarding to watch them flex their "4 C's":
🤝 Collaboration
🗣️ Communication
🧠Critical Thinking
🎨 Creativity
So proud of these young makers!

Congratulations to Sophia Carson and all other health science cadets! 4 juniors passed their CNA written tests and 3 seniors passed their CCMA test on Wednesday. They are now one step closer to becoming licensed CNAs and LPNs, respectively.
We are so proud of these cadets and grateful for the opportunities our partnership with D-26 provides them.
