We are excited to introduce a new tool for our school community: the STOPit App.

The STOPit app is an anonymous reporting system that allows students to privately share safety concerns with trusted adults from our school. While we continue to encourage you to share concerns directly with school staff, we know it is not always easy to do so.

What can you report?

With the STOPit App, you can anonymously report concerns such as:

· Bullying or harassment

· Threats of self-harm or harm to others

· School violence or threats of violence

· Inappropriate behavior or misconduct

· Any other concerns you might have

You can attach a photo or video to your report and text anonymously with school leaders to provide them with the necessary information.

Need Immediate Support?

With the STOPit app, you can also seek help for yourself. The STOPit app provides a direct connection to Crisis Text Line, where there are thousands of trained counselors online to provide you with immediate support. You can text a counselor anytime (day or night) until you feel safe and calm.

K-12 Picture Retake Day is on Monday, November 17. Elementary cadets need to be in their school uniform and 29th St. cadets need to be in their CAP blues. Please order pictures at mylifetouch.com and then choose our school. If you don’t pre-order, no worries, they will get a proof in a few weeks. D26 cadets should report to APA if they want a retake THEN go to D26 with a pass from Capt. Rue. We finish well before lunch. Questions? Email brue@goapa.org #MakeYourDreamsTakeFlight

A huge thank you to Dr. Tom Bannon, VP for Community Engagement and Chief Foundation Officer for Community Hospital Anderson, who presented Commandant Jill Barker with a check for $2500.00! This is APA's share of the money raised at Community Hospital Anderson's Community Chefs event and will help stock our Nurses' offices. We're so grateful! #JetPride #AllSystemsCheck #MakeYourDreamsTakeFlight

See below for an update from APA online! Also click the link for attachments. Good morning, all. I wanted to share some great news! The 2025-26 APA Online Program Policy revisions were officially approved and adopted by the APA Board of Directors at last night’s meeting. The purpose of the policy is to clearly outline expectations for cadets enrolled in APA Online and to ensure alignment with the same academic standards and accountability measures as our in-person program. These revisions strengthen clarity in three main areas: Attendance and Daily Progress Attendance: Repeat offenders may be removed and returned to in-person enrollment. Academic Accountability Progress: Failure to make adequate progress may result in removal and return to in-person enrollment. Structured supports are in place for cadets identified as falling behind. Enrollment & Eligibility Application with internal review prior to approval for enrollment into the program. Cadets with IEPs or pending Evaluations require a Case Conference before enrollment approval. The policy updates include clear definitions of the differences between APA Online, homeschool, and homebound instruction to prevent miscommunication and misplacement. Review the full policy: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11qCkYlcu1bFEVNAiO01wgEIgYndA3iAt?usp=sharing Please note - cadets already enrolled in APA Online do not need to reapply at this time. #MakeYourDreamsTakeFlight
